Focus/Objectives:

• To Build the Capacities of SC/ST Representatives of PRIs.


• To create awareness about Social Empowerment and Equity among Elected Representatives of PRIs and Government Officials, Youth Volunteers, Members of CBOs and NGOs.


• To monitor the progress of the schemes under Scheduled Caste Sub Plan and Tribal Sub Plan for Social Empowerment & Equity.


• To evaluate the impact of benefits derived, to ascertain the preferences of stakeholders and to examine critically other pertinent issues in implementing poverty ameliorative measures for weaker sections to bring qualitative improvement in their social and economic conditions.
