    • M.A (Gold Medalist) in Sociology from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

    • M.Phil in Sociology (Child Health) from Central University, Hyderabad.

    • Certificate in Participatory Rural Development from NIRD, Hyderabad.

    • Pursuing Ph.D. in Sociology (Disability Studies) from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur.

Having more than 14 years experience in implementation of Development and Welfare programmes. 

1. Joint Secretary, Centre for Development Studies-APARD from 01-10-2008 to till date.Contributed in preparation of Contract Recruitment Policy of APARD with categorization of required positions, prescribed qualifications and remuneration.

  2. Centre Head, Centre for Natural Resource Management , AMR-A.P. Academy of Rural Development, Hyderabad from 9-10-2007 to 30-09-2008.

    • Contributed in the preparation of Modules for Capacity Building in Rural Development (3 volumes) published by APARD.

    • Contributed in the preparation of Modules and Films on NREGS under UNDP project.

    • Contributed in the Capacity Building of NREGS functionaries. 

Addl. Project Co-ordinator, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, West Godavari District from 24.03.2006 to 06.07.2007.

    • Stood state first in the test conducted for filling up the posts of APC, SSA on deputation.

    • Introduced system of Habitation In-charges (Teachers) for making habitations free of out of school children in West Godavari District.

    • Contributed for the Rehabilitation of Disabled through District Disability Rehabilitation Centre programme of Govt. of India.

Assistant Project Officer (M&E), DPAP & Assistant Project Director(FAC), A.P. Rural Livelihoods Programme, District Water Management Agency, Kurnool District from 11-06-2002 to 24-09-2003.

    • Organized District Capacity Building Center with multiple team of professionals of Social Mobilization, Gender, Monitoring & Evaluation, Productivity Enhancement and Micro Enterprises. 

    • Worked as Project Implementing Agency (P.I.A.) for Watersheds in Kodumur & C. Belegal Mandals during the above period.

Assistant Director, Disabled Welfare, Kurnool District from 30-07-1999 to 19-02-2002.

    • Organized Mandal level multipurpose camps for Disabled persons for issue of Medical Certificates, Railway Concession, Bus Passes and Economic Assistance.

Assistant Director, Disabled Welfare & Project Director(FAC), National Child Labour Project, Khammam District from 03-07-1997 to 11-02-1999.

    • Organized Child Labour Schools especially in Tribal areas of Khammam District.

Assistant Director, Disabled Welfare, Warangal District from 23-04-1994 to 02-07-1997.

    • Provided scholarships and appliances for Disabled persons.

Recognitions/Honours/ Accomplishments
1. During my tenure as Addl. Project Co-ordinator, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, West Godavari District, Country's 2nd Best District Award has been given to West Godavari District in the year 2006 by the National Trust for the Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities, Govt., of India for the activities taken up for Education and Rehabilitation of Disabled under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Programme.

2. During my tenure as Asst. Director, Disabled Welfare, Anantapur District in the year 2005-06, State Government recognized Anantapur as State's best District in the rehabilitation of Disabled and recommended for National Award of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India and for National Award of the National Trust, New Delhi.

3. During my tenure as Asst. Director, Disabled Welfare, Kurnool District in the year 1999-2000, conducted training and exposure visit for representatives of 13 countries of Asia and Pacific region in Kurnool District on "Poverty alleviation of rural disabled persons" in coordination with NIRD, Hyderabad

4. During my tenure as Project Director, National Child Labour Project, Khammam District during 1997-1999, I updated all the records and accounts totally pending since inception of the project (2 years before my tenure) and submitted progress reports and audit reports of the past period to Govt. of India which appreciated me in writing.

5. During my tenure as Asst. Director, Disabled Welfare, Warangal District during 1994-1997, Director, Welfare of Handicapped appreciated me in writing for getting 25 A.G. Audit objections of my predecessors dropped at a time.


Publications : 
1. Paper on "Integrated Education of Disabled Children - A case study of Veldurthy Mandal" was presented at UNDP-NIMH National Conference on Support to Children with Disabilities at Hyderabad on 28-29, June 2004.

2. Paper on "Rehabitation plan for child labour in Khammam District" was submitted for ILO-IIPA workshop at New Delhi held in April, 1999.

3. Paper on "Causes and prevention of childhood disabilities" was presented for workshop on "Prevention of Child-hood Disabilities" held at Hyderabad organized by UNICEF and Directorate for Welfare of Handicapped on 27.07.1995

Experience
Joined the services of A.P. Small Scale Industrial Development Corporation Ltd., Govt. of A.P undertaking as Accountant in 1973 and worked in the areas of:

1. Compilation of annual accounts of the Corporation, Monitoring of 32 branches accounts and preparation of budgets including master budget - as Accountant from 1973-1977.
2. Conducting of Internal Audit of the branch units and head office as assistant manager from 1978 to 1982.
3. Organising Finance Wing of the Corporation i.e., Cash Management, Income Tax, Sales Tax, Budgets and Account of Plan Fund Allocation, Accounting of H.O etc., as Assistant Accounts Officer (Finance) from 1982 to 1985.
4. Worked as Financial Analyst from June 1985 to July1986 assisting General Manager (Raw Material).


Job Specifications

All Financial matters - Annual budget preparation, examination and explanation to audit observations, feasibility report for new RMSC, working out pricing of materials etc.,
