Center for Development Studies and Andhra Pradesh Authority of Rural Development has put forth its papers with the authorities concerned to have the assignments entrusted to it, as detailed below: 

• Human Resource related contract services to UNDP - Government of India Project - Capacity Development for Local Governance on continuous basis.
    

• Assignment of projects from Council for Advancement of Peoples Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) for undertaking the development projects / evaluation of the projects financed by CAPART.
   

• Three action-research projects to be sponsored by ministry of Panchayat Raj, Govt. of India with the following project titles

  • Project l: Building dada base at village/ Block /district level for Decentralizing Planning
     

  • Project ll: A model overarching service delivery policy by States outlining the framework within which each Department would lay down detailed guidelines for preparation of service delivery plans through Panchyat Raj Institutions.
     

  • Project lll: To determine state variations in implementation of the Major Centrally Sponsored Schemes viz: National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS), Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Mid Day Meals (MDM), Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS)- Role of PRIs and lessons.
