ACTIVITIES


CDS-APARD is a teaching cum Research cum Consultancy and Management Organisation. As a nonprofit organization, all its earnings, movable and immovable properties, are solely utilized towards promotion of its aims and objectives.

Fund Management in Projects 

Handling of funds from external and international agencies for implementation & evaluation of Rural Development Projects.

In pursuance of its objectives for over a period of 6 years now, CDA has been handling projects involving financial assistance from the foreign donor agencies like UNICEF, UNDP, DFID and others, successfully to the satisfaction of the funding agencies. The implementation of these projects has resulted in tangible impacts, which can be assessed in quantitative and financial terms. A constant endeavour to handle more projects with the same professional expertise in the coming years is being made by CDS. The implementation of projects is being done through direct financing to the district functionaries or through an agency created for managing the district functionaries.



Human Resource Development
CDA-APARD provides expert human resource services ranging from selection, recruitment, training induction services for government departments/agencies, especially in recruitment of contract staff.



Direct Training Programs 
CDS-APARD has embarked upon imparting trainings, as a state managed society, on different topics. These include office administration and accounting procedures in state managed societies, community mobilization, health and nutrition, stress management, HR management, entrepreneurship development and other related programs.



Research and Consulting Services 
The research and consulting services primarily centres around responding to the needs, priorities, opportunities and constraints, identified for the rural poor. This services involve undertaking of study, analysis and interpretation of all the plans and activities at grass root levels, with an objective to offer technically feasible and economically viable propositions.
