As part of
pursuance of its objectives as enshrined in the Memorandum of
Association of the Society, CDS-APARD has managed issuance of
contract appointment orders followed by contract agreements to
more than 1600 professionals.
This is upon selection, recruitment, training and
induction into the job.

total of more than 1600 contract
staff and professionals were selected and trained until
2007.
Human
Resource Management
Besides the above
activities, CDS-APARD has been assigned with recruitment,
selection, training and induction into jobs of the contract
staff and professionals for Rural Development Department,
Government of Andhra Pradesh.
In the year 2008 CDS-APARD has generated and
issued 6500 contracts to the fixed tenure employees of Rural
Development Department of Government of A.P.
Further CDS has provided HR related services, especially
recruitment of contract staff to the following other
Government department on fairly large scale.

for their A.P., community based Tank Management
Project (A World Bank assisted project).

Municipal
Administration Department, Government of A.P. (Mission for
eradication of Poverty in Municipal Areas)

Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) - A Government managed
society, for its agency - Employment Generation and
Marketing Mission.

Project Implementation – Source of Funds

Giripragath Programme
MoU was been
entered into between Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty
(SERP) and CDS-APARD to carry on the operations on behalf of
SERP.
The programme is
funded by DFID, The programme envisaged development of tribal areas initially in 3 districts
covering 8 mandals. The total
project outlay was Rs. 12.98 crores for three years i.e. from
2006 to 2008. The end date of
the project was 31.12.2008

projects, viz., DFIF, RNE, UNICEF.

Financial Aid
Fund (FA) (Andhra Pradesh Rural Livelihoods Project).

CDS is rendering
services like selection, placement and managing contracts for
various professionals working for APRLP.

to the District Capacity Building Centres (DCBC), handling of
exposure visits to other states.

Water
Conservation Mission (WCM). The Project was funded by Royal
Netherlands Embassy, New Delhi. The project was wound upon 31.12.2004.

Water and
Sanitation (W&S). The
project is basically the Government sponsored one and partly
by UNICEF and the project was closed during year 2003.

UNICEF has been funding for certain specific projects
including water and sanitation through Government of Andhra
Pradesh. The project is not in existence now.
